Voting Behavior and Power in Online Democracy: A Study of Liquid Feedback in Germany's Pirate Party

In a delegative democracy, voters can delegate their vote to any other voter in the system and can change their delegations at any point in time. We look at the impact of delegations on an online delegative democracy platform. Do delegations change the democratic nature of the system by giving raise to "super-voters", which decide all votes themselves by their sheer voting power? Or can we even find positive effects of delegations on the voting system?
