The Faculty of Computer Science from Koblenz University at the Night of Technology on 5th November

On Saturday, 5th November visitors of all ages can gain insight into the manifold research topics of the computer science faculty at the University of Koblenz-Landau during the Night of Technology (Nacht der Technik).
In the exhibition area (foyer upstairs Metz) the Institute for Web Science & Technologies presents a webbrowser that is steered by an eye tracker. Visitors can try out the technology themselves and navigate through the web solely with their eyes. Next-door, guests can use the augmented reality tool from the Institute for Computational Visualistics and move a virtual figure through the physical exhibition area.

The Night of Technology takes place at the site auf IHK Koblenz (August-Horch-Straße) and attracts approx. 10,000 visitors per year. Guests will encounter a colorful programme combining entertainment, science, technology, and craft. There is no entrance fee and visitors can use free shuttles departing from the main station (gate A).
