EU Project "Live+Gov" has concluded

[go to overview]

The European Project "Live+Gov", which was coordinated by WeST and ran since 2012, has successfully been concluded in March 2015. The project developed mobile government solutions that allow citizens to accurately express their needs to governments by using a variety of mobile sensing technologies available in their smartphones. Core to the developments are novel reality sensing, augmented reality, and policy modelling techniques. Field trials in three different application areas about improving urban transportation, urban maintenance, and urban planning, have been executed in the project and successfully raised awareness of the possibilities to using modern smartphone technologies in citizen-to-government communication.

The project successfully concluded its 3-year runtime in March 2015 with the grade "excellent" awarded by the European Commission and its reviewers.
