Together with the Minister for Scientific Affairs Rhineland-Palatinate, Prof. Dr. Konrad Wolf, and the major of Koblenz, Prof. Dr. Joachim Hofmann-Göttig, members of the alliance will initiate its foundation on 21st September 2016. Sociology professor Dr. Nico Stehr will give an invited lecture. Being the future vice-president of the University of Koblenz-Landau, Prof. Dr. Harald von Korflesch (who is also Director of the Central Institute for Scientific Management and International transfer and member of Institute WeST) will be a member of WWA’s board of directors as of October 2016.
