Finding Modelling Errors in Ontologies using Contextual Knowledge[go to overview]
Ontology debugging helps ontology engineers to find modelling errors in ontology. Most debugging methods relies on finding Minimal Unsatisfiability Preserving Sets (MUPS) inside an ontology. MUPS sets shows a set of axioms cause unsatisfiability of some concept and finding faulty axioms among them is tricky. Although, some faulty axioms are not participating in any MUPS and cannot be detected in this way. In this research we use contextual knowledge to detect faulty axioms in MUPS sets and also finding hidden faulty axioms. Our experimental results show increase in precision and recall of errors.
