I am an Assistant Professor (Junior-Professor) of Logistics, Technology and Innovation Management and heads the Research Group LTI. Since July 2013 I am also a member of the Institute for Web Science and Technologies (WeST). In addition, I serve as a vice academic director of the central institute for scientific entrepreneurship and international transfer (ZIfET). Before joining the University of Koblenz-Landau, I was a post-doctoral researcher and project manager at the Chair of General Management and Marketing at Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena.
From 2007 to 2011 I was an assistant to the Chair for Information Management and Organization at University of Koblenz-Landau and worked on various projects funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). In 2007, I spent the summer term as a visiting doctoral student at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. I successfully defendend his dissertation entitled "Managing Innovation Beyond Firm Boundaries" in early 2012.
I graduated with a diploma in computer sciences (M.Sc. equivalent) from the University of Koblenz-Landau, Koblenz, in 2006. During my studies I worked as a research assistant at WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar, as an intern at 1&1 Telekommunikations GmbH, Montabaur, and as a working student at Sustaplast KG, Lahnstein, and Thomas Gabel Consulting, Koblenz. Prior to becoming an assistant professor I also was with Groupon Germany as a managing director.
My current research centers on distributed innovation, organizational identification, and open (service) innovation.
