Daniel Janke and Steffen Staab give lecture and tutorial at the Reasoning Web Summer School[go to overview]
In the last years knowledge graphs have received a lot of attention. During the 14th Reasoning Web Summer School at Luxembourg, 22nd-26th September, the participants learned what knowledge graphs are and how they are created. Furthermore, efficient querying and reasoning on these knowledge graphs first in a centralized and thereafter in a distributed way were taught. On the summer school Steffen Staab presented how RDF stored in the cloud store and query knowledge graphs over several compute nodes. To practice the theoretical knowledge, Daniel Janke supervised a tutorial in which the participants should increase the scalability of an index. More information can be found here.
