WeST spin-off EYEVIDO attracts new investor for web based eye tracking studies[go to overview]
EYEVIDO, a company by the former WeST members Dr. Tina Walber and Christoph Schaefer, has a new investor. The Investment and Economic Development Bank of Rheinland-Pfalz (ISB) joins EYEVIDO. Previously, the received funding by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. “We are glad that with support of ISB we can bring simple, flexible and affordable eye tracking to even more users”, comments CEO Dr. Tina Walber.
EYEVIDO offers web-based eye tracking studies. The software and infrastructure developed by the company allows more flexible and cheaper usability studies than with conventional methods. Dr. Tina Walber developed the idea and scientific foundation during her research at the Institute for Web Science and Technologies.
The Investment and Economic Development Bank of Rheinland-Pfalz is a development institute of the state of Rheinland-Pfalz for business and housing development. It invests in the development and market launch of innovative products, services, and processes.
