Steffen Staab elected as ECCAI Fellow[go to overview]
ECCAI, the European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence, was established in July 1982 as a representative body for the European Artificial Intelligence community. The ECCAI Fellows program recognizes individuals who have made significant, sustained contributions to the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in Europe. This year a group of ten researchers including Prof. Dr. Steffen Staab has been awarded this honor. Thus, Prof. Staab is now the youngest among the two dozen German ECCAI Fellows. The certificate of fellowship will be awarded in August at the European Conference for Artificial Intelligence in Prague.
